Things to know before the Tournament
We are very excited to host you and your teams to our annual U18 Mid Winter Classic Tournament. We wish every team the best of luck and a great weekend of hockey.  

If you have any questions or concerns throughout the weekend, each arena will have a tournament sign in table with MDMHA members to help you.

We will be playing games in two arenas:

Bewdley Community Center – Township of Hamilton – located at 7060 Lake St, Bewdley, ON K0L 1E0 

Cavan Monaghan Community Center (CMCC) – located at 986 Peterborough County Rd 10, Millbrook, ON L0A 1G0  

Covid protocols

We ask that all tournament attendees  familiarize themselves with the covid protocols for both arenas and adhere to the policies so that we can provide the most successful weekend possible.

COACHES/MANAGERS/PLAYERS

Each On ice participant (including coaches and trainers) must complete our online Visiting team covid screener for each game that can be found on our website under Covid Screening. The email used on the screener will receive an email confirming that it has been completed.


EVERYONE ENTERING ARENA

For medical exemptions a medical note will no longer be accepted as a proof, instead the information will be imbedded into the person QR code and when scanned a check mark will appear

Everyone 12 yrs and older will be required to have POV( proof of vaccination) through the QR code and accompanied by a piece of identification (listed below). No other proof other than QR Code will be accepted.

Acceptable forms of identification are:

·     Birth certificate
·     Citizenship card
·     Driver’s license
·     Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card, including health card
·     Indian Status Card /Indigenous Membership Card
·     Passport
·     Permanent Resident card

Student Cards are not listed as acceptable Identification.   

Food and beverages are allowed in the facility, however Masks must be worn at all times once not consuming.

Facility capacity is set at 50% as per covid provincial regulations.
