Congratulations to the 2015-2016 Millbrook Stars Midget LL team on a terrific start to your season.
With a game focused start (8 games with only 7 practices) the team has risen to the occasion and sit with a 6-2-0 record as of November 6th. It's always a challenge with this age group as you have a number of players (minors and majors) who have never played together, and it can take some time for everyone to adjust. New lines have been formed, new friendships are being made and the team has really come together in a short period of time. All players have been contributing with everyone making it on the game sheet. Last night was win #6 with our goalie earning his first shutout win of the season. They have another 6 games in the next two weeks, and then are really looking forward to their 1st tournament of the season in Dorchester, ON at the end of November. I'm sure it will be the fantastic experience that we have come to expect. Good luck with the rest of the season.
