The Cavan Monaghan Community Centre will be built as per the original design...
with an ice rink!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the Council Meeting today, wrote letters or shared their support to encourage Council to move forward with the CMCC Project despite costs coming in higher than projected.

We (MDMHA), as a delegation, were able to present our case for our membership and the rest of the community as to why this project is vital, not only to the future of hockey in Millbrook, but to all the children and members of our community who will use this facility in the coming years.
Today MDMHA presented the CMCC Project with a cheque for $15,000 and we have pledged to raise $250,000 over the next 5 years to show our support and commitment to having a new Community Centre that includes an ice surface for our current and future hockey players as well as all members of this Township.
In the coming weeks we will be rolling out a number of fund-raising initiatives to help full fill our pledge.  We hope to have as many events as possible to bring in outside funds as to keep any burden on our members to a minimum.  We will need your help though, and encourage everyone who can devote time to contact us so your name can be placed on a volunteers list. You can contact us at [email protected]
