Petes Game Day Coaches Clinic
Submitted By Bree Pearce on Thursday, September 5, 2019
The grand opening of the new Cavan Monaghan Community Centre presents an exciting opportunity for all coaching staff:

As part of the day's agenda members of the Petes coaching and management staff will host a coaches clinic that features presentations on season preparation, practice preparation, game preparation, specialty teams, coaching goalies, stretching, and diet and nutrition.

You do not have to be a "coach" to register for the course.

The training is a half day classroom style clinic with an end of day feature presentation by Mike MacPherson, current scout to the Chicago Blackhawks talking about grit, growth, and leadership.

The cost of the clinic is $30.00.  The cost includes lunch, handout materials, and a Peterborough Petes gift. All attending coaches will receive certification maintenance points toward their Hockey Canada coaching levels.

To register please follow this link: on or before September 13, 2019.  Payment can be submitted on September 14, 2019 at the registration tent in the CMCC lobby beginning at 10:30.  Cash, Credit, and debit will be accepted.  There is an open practice at 11:30 on ice, but it is not mandatory.

Date of the course: Saturday, September 14, 2019
Time of the course: 12:30 to 4:30pm
Cost: $30.00
