Submitted By Chris Mclean on Fri 10 29, 21
Hello Millbrook Hockey Families,

We have great news to share! Many of the Covid restrictions at the CMCC have been modified and we would ask that you thoroughly review the details below to ensure you are familiar with the new policies.

There will be a security guard at the door of the CMCC  Mon – Fri  4PM – 11 PM and Sat & Sun all day to passively screen everyone entering the building, record contact tracing info for all spectators, and verify vaccine status of every individual entering the building who is 12 years or older (currently excluding players). After Nov 26th, players will also be required to show proof of vaccination to the security upon entry if they are 12 or older.

Everyone entering the building  is still required to complete the MDMHA Online Covid Screening:

Visiting Teams: z

Coaches are still submitting the sign in forms for all of their on ice participants as they have been doing when entering the building – they no longer have to submit sheets for the parents as they will sign in with security

Teams can enter the building 30 minutes prior to your ice time and exit the building within 20 minutes after the ice time

Capacity limits have been lifted for the building

Parents are allowed in the dressing when needed

Change rooms, showers and water stations are all operational

Food and beverages are permitted in the building however the Canteen will remain closed

Lobby and washrooms are open for use as per normal.

The 30 minute cleaning session has been eliminated.

Masks Must be worn in the arena at all times unless removed temporarily to consume food or beverage

Entrance and exit destination will remain the same

The walking track is only open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. by appointment only.

We realize that Covid has made our normal hockey activities more difficult over the past year and we appreciate the continued support that CMCC has provided, that has allowed us to come to the rink. These changes are an exciting step towards more normal activities and we ask that everyone continue to work together and abide by the new policies to ensure our successful partnership with CMCC moving forward.

The Full CMCC policy can be found in our Return to Hockey 2021 Library on our website at:
