UPDATE #2 to CMCC Policies - March 1, 2022
Good afternoon Hockey Families!!!
Over the past two years there have been a number of challenging situations to deal with. We are super excited to send out the latest update from the CMCC.
As of 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday March 1st, the province of Ontario has entered the “Roadmap Exit Step”, which will be dictated by
O. Reg 364/20 Schedule 4&5.
When our region entered the Roadmap Exit Step, many common place public health measures are no longer required, including proof of vaccination for patrons, ID and completing the online Covid Screener.
The repeal of these measures signals that we have reached a turning point of this pandemic such that our health system is not at risk of being overwhelmed.
Unfortunately, however, COVID-19 is still very much present in our community and transmission is still occurring.
There are still many prevention measures individuals will need to consider to protect themselves from COVID-19 transmission.
We would ask that MDMHA members continue to passively screen all attendees at home and if someone is experiencing Covid symptoms please stay home. Masks are still required when inside the CMCC until participants are engaged in physical activity.
We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their tireless efforts to adhere to and keep up with the everchanging communication over the past two years. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to reach out. This article has been viewed 434 times.
