Hockey update: PLEASE READ
Hello Millbrook Hockey Families, we hope that you are enjoying the warmer weather finally!
We have several updates so please read the full email for items that may pertain to you.
Equipment return - May 29th @ 4-6 PM - Top Cans Self Storage - 1212 Moore Dr. Cavan
To all coaches from the 2021/22 season we would ask that you gather up all of the equipment (Pucks, pylons, trainer bags, goalie equipment etc.) that you used for your team this past season and please bring it to Top Can Self Storage on Moore Dr. between 4-6 PM on May 29th. We would like to ensure we have everything returned so that we can best prepare for the 2022/23 season.
If for any reason you know you will not be able to meet us on May 29th please email Rob Wilson to arrange a time to hand in your equipment.
Coaches needed - No hockey season is possible with out the dedication of our coaches, trainers, managers etc. In order to be best prepared for the upcoming 2022/23 season we would ask that anyone who is interested in coaching one of our Local league teams (U5 - U18) or U15 or U18 rep teams, please fill out a coach/trainer/volunteer application . It is very important to have a list of interested coaches when our young stars hit the ice in September so that we can be as organized as possible, your attention to this form and willingness to help our players is greatly appreciated.
U15/U18 Rep tryouts - It has been decided at our most recent board meeting to move the U15 and U18 rep tryout to the fall. Please watch the association website and schedule for updates on dates and times of the tryouts in September.
Award Nominations - It is that time of the year now that we are a month removed from our season to accept nominations for the Laverne Moore Award (Coach of the Year) and the Millbrook Stars Service & Dedication Award (Volunteer of the Year) . Both nominations forms can be accessed by these links or under the Forms section on the Millbrookhockey.com website. As an association that is ran and operated strictly by volunteers it is important to recognize the members that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to support our young players, please take the time to nominate who you think is deserving! This article has been viewed 713 times.
