It is the time of year to commemorate and recognize our volunteers for their hard work in keeping Millbrook and District Minor hockey Association running and enabling fun on the ice for all.
MDMHA is proud to have 2 awards that are presented in recognition of the contributions of our volunteers.
The Laverne Moore Coach of the Year Award and the Millbrook Stars Service and Dedication Award. The Laverne Moore coach of the year award is a commemorative award in recognition of a local man who was a life long lover of hockey, broomball, Millbrook community and sport. The Millbrook Stars Service and Dedication Award is intended to recognize volunteers within our organization who may not necessarily be a coach, but have dedicated their time to supporting our organization in more than one role, over 2 or more years. The nomination forms for both awards will be open until 11:59pm on April 28, 2024. The awards will be presented to the recipients during the banquet on May 4th.
