Things to know before the tournament
We are very excited to host you and your teams to our annual Winter Classic Tournament. We wish every team the best of luck and a great weekend of hockey.

If you have any questions or concerns throughout the weekend, each arena will have a tournament sign in table with MDMHA members to help you.

Please refer to tournament  scheduled located on our website and directly at the following link to ensure you know what arena and what time you will be playing:

We will be playing games in two arenas:

Bewdley Community Center – Township of Hamilton – located at 7060 Lake St, Bewdley, ON K0L 1E0 -

Cavan Monaghan Community Center (CMCC) – located at 986 Peterborough County Rd 10, Millbrook, ON L0A 1G0

Covid protocols

We ask that all tournament attendees  familiarize themselves with the covid protocols for both arenas and adhere to the policies so that we can provide the most successful weekend possible.

COACHES/MANAGERS/PLAYERS

Each On ice participant (including coaches and trainers) must complete our online Visiting team covid screener for each game that can be found on our website under Covid Screening. The email used on the screener will receive an email confirming that it has been completed. Players should show this email to their coach/covid representative before entering the arena.

Each team must submit a Covid Contract Tracing On-Ice Participant 2021 upon entering the arenas for each game which should include all players, coaches and trainers information. The contract tracing form can be download at the link above or will be available from security at the arenas. It is recommended to download the form and have names and phone numbers pre-populated so that you only need to check off their attendance and validate the covid screener have been completed.

It is important that coaches/COVID representatives arrive early enough as players will not be allowed entry until they have been verified for screening by their coach/COVID representative. As each players has been verified they will then enter to have their vaccination checked by township staff/security guard company.
