Midget LL, 2015-2016 (Millbrook Minor Hockey)

Midget is always and interesting age group as it's the only age group that encompasses 3 birth years of players. For the 1st years it's the beginning of their final stage of their minor hockey careers, and for the majority of 3rd years, it will be their final season on minor hockey.  

This Valentines/Family day weekend saw the Millbrook Stars Midget team invade our nations capital. About half the team left Millbrook on Thursday to start the weekend early by taking in an Ottawa Senators game. Everyone had a fantastic time.The rest of the team arrived Friday to compete in the 12th Annual Capital House League tournament. 

A few Midget players and coach Dale helped represent the Midget team this past Saturday at the Millbrook Santa Claus parade.  

This past weekend the Millbrook Midget LL team travelled to Dorchester, ON for their 1st tournament of the season. Friday night provided a rough start for the Midgets with a 3-0 loss to their local rivals the Manvers Mustangs. Unfortunately our players left their usual get up and go in Millbrook and were not able to get the puck past the Manvers goalie. Our substitute goalie for our 1st game Eli Guzik did a fantastic job in net. He only let in 3 goals in the 1st period and had a shut out for the 2nd and 3rd periods. Our game scheduled for Thursday Nov. 19th vs Mariposa in Bewdley at 7:30 has been cancelled.  The team will be notified once it has been rescheduled.
