Millbrook Stars Novice LL team are 2 and 0 after a decisive 7 to nothing win over one of the host teams from Port Colborne in this mornings match up.
Millbrook jumped out early in the first, scoring only 1 minute and seven seconds into the game when T. Lehmann set up a C. Stephenson for the opening marker.
Two minutes later G. Jones made it a 2-0 game when he scored on a nice feed from G. Fisher.
A third goal was added in the first period when C. Stephenson returned the favour, setting up T. Lehmann for the score.
A single tally in the second period by O. Hunter, with assists to T. Lehmann and B. Borden made it a 4 to nil game.
B. Borden opened the third period scoring assisted by W. Simpson and Goalie J. Metcalf.
G. Jones then notched his second goal of the tournament and third point when he was set up by L. Kirkwood and G. Fisher.
C. Stephenson tallied Millbrook's final goal of the game, once again set up by T. Lehmann.
Millbrook plays again at 5:00 pm today.
